My name is Anjali Gupta. I’m a student, researcher, and leader. I believe that the future is AI.

Yale University

2020 - Present

I am looking eagerly forward to continuing my education. One of 15 Hahn Fellowship Scholars, I will be conducting computer science research starting in my first year.

Phillips Exeter Academy

2016 - 2020

Exeter is famous for its Harkness pedagogy of teaching: twelve students and one teacher sit around an oval table and discuss the subject at hand. It’s a collaborative approach to problem solving and learning.

At Exeter, I was editor-in-chief of MATTER Magazine, co-captain of Daniel Webster Debate Society, co-founder of Science Olympiad, and involved heavily in music.

Intern at UMIACS

Summer 2019

Under Professor Abhinav Shrivastava, I researched analyzing intent of tampered images. I applied dense captioning and scene graph parsing algorithms to tampered images from the NIST/DARPA MediFor Challenge data set in creating a novel pipeline for intent analysis.
